Aleksey Filippovich

 

 

Geophysicist, Ph.D in Geological & Mineralogical Sciences

 

A graduate and postgraduate of the Department of Geophysics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Ph.D in Geological and Mineralogical Sciences. Constantly involved in research activity, scientific articles and reports preparation, as well as in teaching at the MSU. Has great experience working with engineering seismic data, gravity and magnetic exploration data.

A graduate of the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, Lomonosov Moscow State University. Worked in the academic and industrial institutions of Russian academy of sciences. Over the past 25 years has worked as a developer of Russian seismic data processing software: VELINK, PRIME, GEOLAB, GEOLAB-ULTIMA. Joined «GEOLAB» in 2014.

A graduate of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. Has a 40-year experience in processing marine and ground (2D, 3D, 3D3C) seismic data acquired on five continents. Was the chief developer of software SCS-5. Participated in the development of geophysical software such as SEISPACK, SCS-3, VELINK, and PRIME. Geography of projects: Western and Eastern Siberia, Okhotsk Sea, Gulf of Mexico, India, North Sea, Malaysia, Algeria, Oman, Barents Sea, Laptev Sea, Timano-Pechora field and many other. Joined "GEOLAB" in 2013.
